The Coronado, our new display home took centre stage on Saturday 14th April…
The day was a great success, with visitors being treated to a special appearance from celebrity chef, Pete Evans from channel Seven’s ‘My Kitchen Rules’. The kitchen is one of the attractions of the four bedroom, two bathroom Coronado with generous bench and storage space, Q-stone benchtops, stainless steel appliances and of course; the superb new ‘Pete Evans sink’ from Clark.
The new Pete Evans sink range features an array of integrated accessories to make food preparation easier without compromising space. One hundred free copies of Evan’s book were distributed on the day and Pete was available to answer questions from fans. Afterward, guests were free to roam through a functional home highlighted by a living area and alfresco which combine to present a superb area for entertaining or relaxing.
The Master Suite is ‘5 star’ and compliments the generous bedrooms and storage space throughout. The study is a great central location and the garage provides direct access inside and out.

The 30th of March was an amazing day, not just because it was Friday but because there was an amazing race going on. The great race to Craig’s Place was burning up the streets from the city to The Vines!
Three teams of two - ‘the brothers’, ‘the lovers’ and ‘the friends’ were up against each other in a mad dash for 5 grand cash. Taking off from the 96fm studios at 6 in the morning the teams were given a riddle that would lead them to the DNA tower in Kings Park. After spinning the wheel of misfortune and having to wait the designated amount of time the wheel told them (in one case a team did have to wait 12 minutes) teams headed off to the next checkpoint which was in the middle of Midland train station. It seemed like a two horse contest after two of the teams stormed off at practically the same time with ‘the friends’ Lia & Nat in first place ahead of ‘the brothers’.
The third clue would prove to be the ‘ great divider’ between the teams. Having to race against each other and the clock things were getting tense. Tracing around Whiteman Park for what seemed like hours, the teams finally found the last clue and were off to the final checkpoint. The Tahoe display home on The Vines was the final destination where the 96fm Breakfast team were broadcasting for the morning and it was the brothers Marc & David Spadaccini crossing the finish line not even 10 seconds in front of the lovers - Mandy and Antonio
It proved to be a race well run with all the cunning, street smarts and local knowledge helping teams gain the advantage. A great time was enjoyed by all and while there can only be one winner everyone felt like abit of a champion on the day for piecing the puzzle together.
